A very active first round, with both boxers doing solid work. Aleem had the edge with speed and using his much longer reach. Another active round, with a lot of punches flying from both. Aleem continued to have an edge with his speed and decked Pasillas hard with a big right. Pasillas, to his credit, was able recover, but he was taking punishment for most of the final minute.

After controlling the fifth, Aleem scored another knockdown at the start of the sixth round. Pasillas was not that hurt this time around, as Aleem was boxing him and throwing accurate punches.
Pasillas was rocked bad at the start of the seventh round. He was doing what he could to survive as Aleem continued to tag him with big punches. The eight round was close, as Pasillas was starting to come back. At the start of the ninth, Pasillas was going after Aleem and then got tagged, for a flash knockdown that sent Pasillas down for a third time. Pasillas was doing some good work after getting up.
In the first minute of the eleventh, a hard combination sent Pasillas down for the fourth time and the fight was waved off by the referee.
