Fulton was very sharp with his jab in the first round, while Leo was doing his best to get inside and make it a fight. A cut opened up above the left eye of Leo, from a clash of heads.
Leo was taking the fight to Fulton in the second, digging to the body and throwing a lot of punches. Fulton was shooting his jab and doing some good inside work as well. Fulton was controlling the third by fighting from the distance. More of the same from Fulton in the fourth, as he had Leo at bay with the jab.
Very high workrates by both boxers in the fifth. Fulton was having the edge with his landed shots. In the sixth, Fulton continued to let the more accurate punches go. A close seventh with Leo landing a lot of punches in close. Leo applied a lot of pressure on Fulton in the eight, with the challenger unloading with a lot of accurate counters.
A close ninth, where it could have gone either way as both had their moments. Another close round in the tenth, with Fulton edging the action with the more accurate punches. Two-way action in the eleventh, with Fulton still landing more punches and being more accurate. And Fulton closed stronger in the twelfth, as Leo tried his best to turn the tide.
