Geffrard Returns With Win Over Grachev After Three Years of Inactivity

Light heavyweight contender Steve Geffrard (18-2) won his first fight in three years when he defeated veteran Denis Grachev via unanimous decision at the sold out out Delray Beach Boxing Club in Delray Beach, Florida on March 4th.

The final scores of the 8 round main event were 79-71 twice and 78-72. Geffrard’s last ring appearance took place on March 23rd, 2018 when he stopped Zoltan Sera in 4 rounds.

In the co-feature bout, Robin Sirwan Safar (11-0) kept his unbeaten record intact with an 8th round knockout of Demetrius Banks (10-10-1) in their cruiserweight clash.

The entire fight card will be aired by the Impact Network on March 13th on tape delay.  The Impact Network entered the boxing landscape in 2020 with two live fight cards.  The first was headlined by former super welterweight champion Austin Trout.

Dominique Francis (9-0) UD over Jayron Lopez (7-7-1) in a 6 round featherweight bout

Antonio “Bang” Williams (14-0-1) UD over Ignacio Perrin (6-5-1) in a 6 round lightweight bout

Jonas Sylvain (1-0) TKO3 over Henry Mendez (0-4) in a scheduled 4 round middleweight bout

Tobias Green (8-3) UD over Agustine Mauras (7-10-3) in a 4 round lightweight bout.
