Serrano vs Bermudez: Live coverage, 5 pm ET

Fighting

Tonight on NBCSN, Ring City USA returns with a world title fight in the main event, as top women’s pound-for-pound boxers Amanda Serrano and Daniela Bermudez battle for a pair of featherweight belts.

The 32-year-old Serrano has won titles in seven different weight classes and been one of the standouts of women’s boxing for years, while the 31-year-old Bermudez of Argentina has won belts in three divisions, and has also, albeit somewhat more quietly for U.S. fans, been a top fighter for a long time now.

It’s a good matchup, probably each of them facing a career-best opponent. Both of them can fight. Serrano will have some home field in Puerto Rico, where “The Real Deal” was born before settling in Brooklyn.
