Ocampo achieved his imposing victory in the main event of a closed-door function that Zanfer Promotions presented at the Grand Hotel Tijuana, officially at 1:52 minutes into the second round.

The Tijuana-born Dubiel Sanchez executed an effective fight plan, connecting short, repeating power shots and imposing hierarchy especially in the short distance, to win a well-deserved and well-worked victory by unanimous decision over Ruben “Romano Orozco, who was brave and always dangerous.

Sanchez (17-0-2, 12 KO’s) landed the best shots and he controlled the ring. However, Orozco (12-3-0 5 KO’s) sought to press and repeat power shots and his effort was recognized by the judges, who saw him win three rounds in which he connected the most punches.
