Trevor Bryan Wants Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua – And Even Mike Tyson

Boxing Scene

WBA “regular” heavyweight champion Trevor Bryan is eager to secure a much bigger opportunity, with a big name in the weight class, as he continues training in Florida following winning the title.

The 31-year-old Bryan won the regular WBA title on January 29 when he stopped former WBC world champion Bermane Stiverne in the eleventh round.  Bryan is 21-0 with 15 KOs.

Bryan wants to face current WBC champion Tyson Fury or WBA, WBO, IBF, IBO champion Anthony Joshua.

Fury and Joshua are close to finalizing a deal for a full division unification in the summer months.

If he’s unable to get Fury or Joshua, Bryan is even willing to give a world title crack to former undisputed champion Mike Tyson, who is 54-years-old.

Tyson returned to the sport back in November, in an eight round exhibition fight with Roy Jones Jr. The Hall of Famer is reportedly in talks to take apart in another exhibition – this time with former rival Lennox Lewis.

“I’m the only heavyweight champion in the United States,” said Bryan, who calls himself ‘The Dream.’

“I’m the young lion and I’m hungry. Bring on Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. I’ll take their belts and become the undisputed heavyweight champion. I’ll even give Iron Mike Tyson the opportunity to come back and fight me for my title.”

“I’m more than ready, so let’s get it on.  We are ready to go.  I’ll take on Mike Tyson for a tune-up and then I’ll fight either Joshua or Fury the same night.”

Bryan’s promoter, Hall of Fame Don King, is ready to get Bryan back into the ring for his first title defense.

“Let’s make a deal,” said King.  “Trevor is ready to get back into the ring and claim the other belts.”
