Pacquiao: My greatest victory is the De La Hoya fight

Fighting

Manny Pacquiao took time to speak with boxing media members ahead of this weekend’s title fight on Showtime PPV, and while fielding questions from reporters, Pacquiao ranked his win over Oscar De La Hoya as the biggest win of his career.

“The greatest victory is the De La Hoya fight,” Pacquiao said. “You know why, because I came from 135 to 147. That’s unusual. I mean, not many boxers can do that — from 126 to 135 and then moving up to 147. What?!”

Then when asked what he wants to get out of the rest of his career, Pacquiao maintains that he’s willing to face the best of the best while he’s still in the sport.

“As long as I’m still in boxing I’m open and willing to fight Terence Crawford, Errol Spence, or anybody — the best.”

This weekend, however, Pacquiao will have to take care of business against current WBA welterweight titleholder Yordenis Ugas.
