German Faecher Sports, headed by Christian Titze and Wolfgang Fahrer, have reached an agreement for an IBF eliminator at super middleweight between former IBF champ Caleb Truax (31-5-2) and Evgeny Shvedenko (15-0). Date and site will be announced later but the fight will go ahead in Germany during October, reports boxen1.com.
Shvedenko has been scheduled to take part in two previous eliminators but both fell through due to COVID-19. It was first against Aidos Yerbossynuly, who was infected just days before the fight and then Vladimir Shishkin, who tested positive while training in Tyson Fury’s camp..

Polish-British MSM-POL Promotions go on the road again for a show September 4 at the Imperial Hotel in Ostrava, Czech Republic. Headlining is Irishman Declan Geraghty (19-5) who goes for the vacant UBO super lightweight title against South African David Rajuili (12-8-1).
The undercard features the comeback of Polish cruiser – now campaigning as a heavyweight – Pawel Kolodziej (34-1). Kolodziej held the WBFed title during his cruiser days and also challenged for the WBA title against Denis Lebedev and this is where he suffered his only loss.
The fight in Ostrava is his first since 2016 and the opponent is Josef Kormany – a soft touch (there is no other way to put it..
Super welter Przemyslaw Runowski (19-2) is off the bill.

Samir Ziani’s defence of the EBU super featherweight title against Faroukh Korbanov (18-3) will go ahead October 30 in Verviers, Belgium, on a GMG Promotion show.
The winner inherits as previously reported Spaniard John Carter as mandatory challenger.
Ziani (32-3-1) has held the title since 2019.

Swedish cruiser champ Samo Jangirov (6-2-1) defends the title against David Loy (10-2) on October 30 in Katrineholm.
This will be Jangirov’s third defense to the title he won by beating Marcus Alberts.
