Munguia-Rosado officially set for Nov. 13

Fighting

It’s official. DAZN will play up the Mexico vs Puerto Rico rivalry for its now formally announced middleweight fight between Jaime Munguia (37-0, 30 KOs) and Gabriel Rosado (26-13-1, 15 KOs), who will meet in a 12-round main event set for November 13, streaming live on the network.

Munguia is most recently coming off a stoppage win over Kamil Szeremeta in June and says he’s looking forward to the expected fireworks going against Rosado — who’s known for putting his heart on full display inside the ring.

“Rosado is a dangerous fighter with a lot of experience,” said Munguia. “He is a formidable rival that we have to prepare to be stronger and more intelligent in the ring. He has had the opportunity to fight with great fighters, the best in the middleweight division. I am going to give this fight 100% and as always, give a great fight for fans on November 13.”

Rosado himself is coming off a big win, upsetting Bektemir Melikuziev last June as well, prompting this next big opportunity for his career, and Rosado plans to take full advantage.

“I’m excited about this fight. It’s a fight in high demand,” said Rosado. “I respect Munguia as a fighter and I will bring my best and I am confident I will be victorious. My last fight I think will end up being ‘Knock-out of the Year,’ and I plan on making this upcoming bout ‘The Fight of the Year.’ Time to make history. Team KGR!!”

Alright, fans. Let’s start going on the record. Who ya like in this fight?
