Fury: Wilder’s mind games won’t work on me

Fighting

You know, it’s been kind of an interesting promotional run for Fury-Wilder 3. Deontay Wilder has largely kept it quiet during the official press conferences, but certainly hasn’t shied away from insisting that Fury is a cheater who is on the verge of comeuppance. But as for reigning champion Tyson Fury, he doesn’t care what Wilder says, if anything at all, since he’s just coming to do a job this Saturday.

“I keep my own business to myself and I don’t really care what that big dosser does, nothing,” Fury said. “I don’t care what he does. If he talks or he doesn’t. It doesn’t make any difference to me. Mind games don’t work with me anyway.”

Fury would continue on by reasoning that he doesn’t care what Wilder plans to do under the guidance of new trainer Malik Scott either, since all that matters is how he, himself, plans to perform on the night. And to that end it Fury makes it known that he really isn’t all too concerned about his method of victory, just so long as he does in fact get the victory.

Both Fury and Wilder will meet for the third time this Saturday night in a WBC heavyweight title fight with all the bad blood one could ask for.
