John Fury: If Tommy is On His Game, Then Jake Paul is Easy Night’s Work, Easy Money

Boxing Scene

John Fury, father of unbeaten prospect Tommy Fury (7-0, 4 KOs), indicates that his son will make more money than “some world champions’ for the upcoming showdown with Youtube star turned boxer Jake Paul (4-0, 3 KOs).

The two rivals will collide in the main event of a Showtime Pay-Per-View card on December 18 at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.

Tommy Fury, the younger brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, is reportedly getting paid well over $1 million for the fight.

If Tommy trains to the best of his ability, then John Fury expects him to bag an easy win.

John Fury would like to see Tommy defeat Jake Paul and then fight his older brother, Logan Paul.

But, he predicts Tommy will do such a job on Jake that his brother will get discouraged and never come to the table.

“Listen, Tommy’s getting paid more money for this than some world champions. He’s getting paid in the millions, so if we get millions for getting wet we’re gonna do it, because it’s good business,” John Fury told Rob Moore.

“If he’s on his game, Tommy, and he’s firing on all four cylinders. Easy night’s work, easy money and the winner goes on to bigger and better things. We’ll get the brother out the game as well, then we’ll start looking at conventional titles for him.

“A brother is gonna wanna redeem another brother isn’t he. When he knocks Jake Paul out, the brother’s gonna wanna take his part ain’t he. But I don’t think so because the hiding Tommy’s gonna give Jake Paul, the other brother won’t be interested either.”
