Fury vs. Whyte: Frank Warren Wins Purse Bid With Record $41,025,000

Frank Warren, co-promoter of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, has secured the promotional rights to the mandatory fight with Dillian Whyte, by dropping down a record $41,025,000.

Eddie Hearn, who promotes Whyte, bid $32,222,222.

Fury, who gets 80% pursuant to the WBC’s purse split, will receive a career-high $32,820,000.

Whyte gets 20% of the split, and his purse will be career-high $8,205,000.
