Derevyanchenko established his jab in the early rounds to set up his combinations for the later rounds leading Guy down a rocky road of no return.
Appearing confident and seemingly calm, Derevyanchenko made no excuse for controlling the fight while maintaining his robust yet impressive technical skills reminding us why they call him “The Technichian”.
Although a close call, Guy didn’t go down without a fight but after rounds of slowly losing steam, he was left the to the hands of “The Technician” only to find himself coming up short.
Derevyanchenko had a plan and consistently attacking the body proved to be at the top of his list as he walked Guy down while closing out the co-main event with an 8th round TKO.
