DAZN, 8:00 pm ET, Yoenis Tellez vs Joseph Jackson
Most Valuable Prospects show from Orlando. Tellez is a legit prospect and emerging contender at 154, 23 and from Cuba but one of the new age lads who doesn’t necessarily “fight like a Cuban.” Jackson isn’t a prospect, he’s a 35-year-old club fighter from North Carolina with a paper record, but hey, here’s his chance to show something. We’ll set up a thread for you guys who are watching live.

DAZN, 2:00 pm ET, Peter McGrail vs Marc Leach
This was supposed to be McGrail trying to avenge his stunning loss to Ja’Rico O’Quinn, but O’Quinn’s out so we have this instead. Beatriz Ferreira goes for her first world title on the card, too, facing Yanina Lescano for the vacant IBF lightweight belt. We’ll set up a thread for you guys who are watching live.
DAZN, 8:00 pm ET, Jose Ramirez vs Rances Barthelemy / Vergil Ortiz Jr vs Thomas Dulorme
BLH will have live updates. Ramirez makes his Golden Boy debut in a fight nobody was much asking for, but hey if Golden Boy/DAZN are overpaying for this, sure, it was worth avoiding all those better fights Top Rank were offering. Personally I think this is a sneaky matchup for Jose; he sometimes can be lulled into fighting someone else’s fight, and Barthelemy can be quite a luller. That’s not a word. Ortiz continues his comeback trail at 154 against Dulorme, once a 147 prospect who never really panned out and is 1-3 in his last four, the three coming against people who can fight and the one against someone who can’t, really. JoJo Diaz is also on the card against Oscar Duarte, as apparently Diaz did not field any tremendous offers from rival promoters after losing his fourth in five fights back in February.
TrillerTV PPV, 8:00 pm ET, Ian Green vs Roy Barringer
A Don King card from the Casino Miami defunct Jai Alai court, they should really just call it “The Throne Room” or something for these King-promoted boxing cards. (If they start doing that I demand compensation for my Great Idea.) Also on the card: Ahmed Elbiali vs Sergio Jimenez, Lawrence Newton vs Luis Tenorio, Angel Perez vs Nicholas Givan, and those three fights are honestly better on paper than the advertised headliner but none of them are really good or all that meaningful. $29.99 for the PPV.
TrillerTV PPV, 8:00 pm ET, Clash in Calgary
An Olympus Boxing Promotions card from Calgary. It’s about what you’d expect of a card in Calgary. $19.99 for the PPV, here’s the card at BoxRec.
