Could Naoya Inoue Face Vasiliy Lomachenko? Chris Algieri Says Not So Fast

Boxing Scene

In Thursday’s episode of “Deep Waters” on ProBox TV, analyst Chris Algieri discussed the possibility of a future matchup between unified junior featherweight champion Naoya Inoue and former three-division titleholder Vasiliy Lomachenko, who is set to face George Kambosos Jr. in a lightweight bout Sunday in Perth, Australia.

Algieri is skeptical about Inoue moving up in weight – a 17-pound, three-division leap – to meet Lomachenko at 135 pounds, and there is still the matter of Lomachenko, 36, getting through Kambosos.
