Nick Ball and Ronny Rios make weight for showdown in Liverpool

Nick Ball and Ronny Rios both weighed in below the 126lbs featherweight limit ahead of Saturday’s fight for the WBA title at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool.

Ball (20-0, 11 KOs), 27 years old, is making the first defense of his title in his home city. 

Rios (34-4, 17 KOs), aged 34, is making his third attempt at winning a world title, and his first at featherweight. Ball hit the scales at 125.1lbs; his challenger weighed in slightly heavier at 125.6lbs.
