Bradley: Fury has the advantages over Wilder

Fighting

Timothy Bradley caught up with Fight Hub TV to share some of his quick thoughts on the upcoming third fight between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder. Looking ahead to the fight Bradley says he thinks Fury has the advantages leading into the bout and is unsure how much of a positive impact Malik Scott will have on Wilder in their first fight together. Check out some excerpts of what Bradley had to say below.

Bradley on Fury-Wilder 3

“I think that Tyson Fury has advantages mentally and physically. He does more, he can do it all inside the ring. He’s already proven that he’s got the blueprint, gotta put Wilder on his heels. That still will be an issue for Wilder. Wilder’s who he is, honestly. I understand working on his craft, improving his craft — I get that — and he’s gonna need to. Things might be a little different early on but things once they heat up, you tend to result back to who you were, honestly. Especially when you get in tough situations.

“So I don’t think him and (Malik) Scott has had enough time to be working together, this is their first fight together. I probably would’ve took a tune-up fight or something beforehand, tested it out, see exactly what’s working, what’s not. Is he really getting it? Has anything changed? Has one thing changed? And then fight the Tyson Fury fight.

“But it just shows the character of Deontay WIlder. He believes in himself, he feels that for whatever reason, all the excuses he made — I’m not buying any of that stuff at all. I mean, if he can just take full responsibility for that loss I think that’ll serve him greater going into that rematch but I’m going to favor Tyson Fury slightly. Wilder has a puncher’s chance.”
