The upcoming Triller pay-per-view card, scheduled for September 11 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, is receiving several undercard additions.
The main event will feature the return of six division world champion Oscar De La Hoya, who faces former UFC champion Vitor Belfort in a sanctioned boxing match.
De La Hoya will fight for the first time since 2008, when he suffered a stoppage loss at the hands of Manny Pacquiao.
According to the Mirror, former two division champion David Haye will end his three-year retirement to fight former training partner and billionaire nightclub owner Joe Fournier in an eight round bout.
Haye walked away from the sport in 2018, after suffering back to back knockout defeats at the hands of Tony Bellew.
The experienced Haye captured titles at cruiserweight and heavyweight, but his career was plagued by severe injuries after losing to Wladimir Klitschko in 2011.
Fournier fought on a Triller pay-per-view back in April and raised his record to 9-0 with a one-sided stoppage of Colombian singer Reykon.
Also added to the card, according to MMA Fighting, is a boxing match between MMA legends Anderson Silva and Tito Ortiz.
Silva, 46-years-old, picked up a big boxing win back in June, when he traveled to Mexico to secure a decision victory over former WBC champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. It was only Silva’s third boxing match in his combat sports career – and his first since 2005. Ortiz has little to no boxing experience.
