John Fury headbutted a member of opponent Oleksandr Usyk’s team, busting himself open in the process, ahead son Tyson’s undisputed championship fight with Usyk this coming Saturday.

John is generally good to get some spotlight on himself ahead of one of his son’s fights, and with arguably Tyson’s biggest-ever fight on tap, John went above and beyond.

Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KO) will be defending his WBC title as well as his lineal claim, while Usyk (21-0, 14 KO) brings the WBA, IBF, and WBO titles to Saturday’s fight in Riyadh, which headlines a major pay-per-view that will air on Saturday afternoon U.S. time.

By the time the fight itself rolls around, this bit with John Fury will be little more than a footnote, but there he is, in all his glory. He is a consistent man and true to himself, you can say that.
