Cristian “Chicharito” Gonzalez will top the final All Star Boxing show of the year when he fights Leroy “El Sensacional” Estrada on November 29 at the Centro de Combates in Panama City, Panama.
Mexico City’s Gonzalez, 15-2-1 (5 KOs), is up against a former world title challenger in Estrada, 18-4 (8 KOs).
Gonzalez lost an April 2023 decision to Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez, dropping a challenge for the vacant title. Estrada returned from inactivity with a good performance against undefeated Colombian prospect Ruben Mendoza, knocking him out within two rounds in June.
The Panama co-main will be a trilogy match between All Star Boxing’s Eveling “La Colocha” Ortega, 8-5 (2 KOs), in an eight-rounder against Susana “Gavidia” Panameño, 4-2 (1 KO). Ortega wants to leave no doubt this time after two close matches, and she is now training at high altitude in Mexico City under the tutelage of Ignacio “Nacho” Bernstein.
“Our main event is a good showdown as ‘Chicharito’ has his hands full with Estrada,” said All Star’s Tuto Zabala Jnr. “Our mission is to deliver entertaining fights to the fans.”
The card will be broadcast on ESPN Knockout.
