Amanda Serrano successfully defended her WBC and WBO featherweight titles, winning a clear and deserved unanimous decision over 122 lb titleholder Yamileth Mercado in the Paul-Woodley co-feature from Cleveland. Serrano (41-1-1, 31 KO) was the crisper boxer throughout, and also had more power, both of which are usually the case when she’s in the ring.
